B i o g r a p h y 

Born in Albany in 1986, Dan has spent the majority of his life in the greater capital region of New York.  A musician by nature, he specializes in percussion and piano, and has taught instrumental music in the Germantown Central School District since the fall of 2008.  Additionally, he has taught percussion lessons, and directed the percussion ensemble and jazz band, at the South Colonie Summer Music Camp for several years.   Dan also maintains a private music lesson studio out of his home. 

 

In addition to his engagements as a music educator, Dan has worked with several theatre groups in New York State as a music director, orchestra conductor, audition accompanist, and pit orchestra musician, and has won TANYS (Theatre Association of New York State) awards as a music director.    He has performed with several musical groups as a pianist and percussionist, and continues to perform at local venues whenever possible.  

 

Outside of music, Dan is an automobile enthusiast, master of corny jokes, and a self-proclaimed foodie, and he is the author of a blog entitled Cars, Chow, and So Much More
